What do I need to start a Better Project?

All you need is an idea or suggestion to make something better! You'll also need an email address so you can create an account.

What kinds of ideas are best suited for The Better Project?

All ideas, big and small, are prime candidates for The Better Project.

What qualifies a project as popular?

We list the top 20 most active projects under the Popular Better Projects section. In this context, activity includes new members, new ideas, new comments and vote movement.

What qualifies a Better Project to be listed under My Projects?

Projects are listed under My Projects if you create, vote for or comment on ideas within that project. Better Projects will also appear on this list if you were the creator of the project yourself.

I found a Better Project that's similar to mine. Is it possible to merge two projects?

Contact us to tell us about the Better Projects that you believe should be merged. We promise to look into it.

I saw something inappropriate on TBP. Who do I contact?

All feedback should be sent to The Better Project team via the contact form.

Why does it seem like some of my projects are missing?

The most likely culprit for this phenomenon is Facebook connect. Did you create a Better Project account separately from your Facebook connect login? The site is recognizing you as two separate people. If you're a member of Facebook, we recommend using Facebook connect exclusively to log into The Better Project.
